Gem Brokers Land Sale to Abbott Laboratories in Tipp City
Abbott Laboratories has broken ground for their newest nutrition manufacturing facility in the United States, in Tipp City,Ohio. The 60 acre site, on Co. Rd. 25-A near I-75, will initially produce two of Abbott’s fastest growing adult brands, Ensure and Glucerna. When fully developed, Abbott expects to employ 240 people and it will represent a $270 million investment. Further expansion is a distinct possibility. Wow!! What a shot in the arm for the entire region.

Jesse Sellers Joins Gem’s Leasing and Sales Team
Gem Real Estate Group is pleased to announce a new addition to the Gem Team. Jesse D. Sellers, aDayton native, is a recent graduate fromMiamiUniversity with a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance. Since joining Gem in July, Sellers has taken an active role with the Sales and Leasing group as well as supporting the Appraisal and Consulting Services group.
In October 2011, Sellers earned his Ohio Real Estate Salesperson License. He is also a Candidate member of the CCIM institute and is currently pursuing his CCIM designation. In addition, Jesse is working toward becoming a Registered Real Estate Appraiser Assistant.
