Gem Real Estate Group Announces Promotion

Photo of Amanda Hussong CoxDAYTON (June 22, 2007) – Gem Real Estate Group, one of southwest Ohio’s leading full-service commercial real estate firms, is pleased to announce that Amanda Cox has been promoted to Vice President of Sales and Marketing, after obtaining her Ohio Real Estate Salesperson License in April.

Amanda joined the Gem team in 2005 as the Director of Marketing and Administration. Since then her primary focus has been overseeing the marketing of both the Gem corporate brand and Gem’s clients’ properties in both the Cincinnati and Dayton markets. She was instrumental in developing a new branding strategy in 2005, implementing a new website in 2006, and creating a new advertising campaign in 2007. In addition, she manages the firm’s Administrative Team and oversees general operations in both offices.

Amanda earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Journalism from Ohio University in Athens, Ohio, graduating Cum Laude from the E.W. Scripps School of Journalism in 2000. Her experience prior to joining Gem included sales and marketing for a major gourmet food retailer and event-planning and marketing for an international non-profit health organization.

Amanda resides in Dayton with her husband, Michael and their son Cameron.
